Also, these examples show many different examples of memoir writing, and as such can be used as a great inspiration and as an aid in choosing your own examples. Let's look at some of the most common examples of memoir essays so that you can see what makes them so interesting. This is a typical example of a memoir essay because it shows how it is possible to get people to talk about a past event. The story focuses on a period of time in which the author's family was on an overseas vacation. They were staying in a hotel that had a dog that got sick and died. The family took care of the dog, but it really made them think about their relations hip with pets. At the end of the essay, the author closes with a quote from one of the family members about how this incident made them realize that they had not been treating their pets as well as they should have been.Another memoir essay is similar to this one in that it takes place during a time in which the author's family was visiting his or her grandmother. However, the narrative here is much different because the author was younger than his or her grandmother. Instead of taking care of the dog, the authors focused on something else more important like studying or playing with the family pet. This memoir essay is usually described as a memoir of a single weekend spent at a summer camp. The author attended the camp in order to help his brother with his studies, but he was unable to complete his work due to illness. The focus here is on the experiences the author had while attending the camp, and he compares his experience at the camp to that of the author's own life. The last e xample of a memoir essay is most similar to a second one we looked at. Here, the author describes an event in which she, and several other people, were stranded on a deserted island. As you might expect, everyone tries to help each other out and tries to get home, but things go awry when a tornado takes out power and cell phones. The main question here is how they all manage to stay together without any help. Additionally, they all need to decide what to do with their possessions and decide what to do when the storm hits the island. These are just some of the different memoir examples that you can use as inspiration for your own memoir. In fact, there are many more. As a guide to help you, I encourage you to look for more memoir writing examples and get started writing your own.
